Bull Paddock Creek Hut

Bull Paddock Creek Hut is a basic 2-bunk hut in the Upper Wairau River area of the Nelson/Tasman region within Nelson Lakes National Park, run by the Department of Conservation. Use is free and bookings aren’t required—plan on first come, first served beds.

The hut is set for backcountry travel with free use and no reservation, and it includes 2 bunk beds but does not have a fireplace or drinking water provided. Basic accommodation is the focus, so bring what you need for an overnight stay.
