Cone Creek Hut

Cone Creek Hut is a basic backcountry hut run by the Department of Conservation in the Ahaura River and Lake Brunner catchments area on the West Coast. It has 6 bunk beds and no bookings are required—use is first come, first served.

The hut includes a fireplace, plus toilets with pit latrine disposal. There’s no drinking water provided, so plan to carry your own.
