Devils Den Bivvy

Devils Den Bivvy is a basic two-bunk backcountry hut managed by the Department of Conservation in Lake Sumner Forest Park (Canterbury), in the North Canterbury / Arthur’s Pass area. It’s set up for first-come, first-served use; no bookings are required. The hut is free to use and doesn’t provide a fireplace.

The bivvy has drinking water that’s untreated and uses a pit latrine toilet system. It has mattresses for sleeping, and dogs are not allowed.
