Gosling Hut
Gosling Hut is a basic DOC backcountry hut in the Glazebrook Conservation Area (Marlborough region). It’s a 6-bunk hut used for tramping/backcountry overnights, with bookings not required—use is first come, first served. The hut is free to use.
Use is through private land: access to Waihōpai/Gosling requires permission from landowners, and there is no DOC track access to this hut. Plan your own route and navigation, and be prepared to manage river/stream crossings without assistance. Gosling Hut includes a toilet (pit latrine) and has a fireplace, but it does not provide drinking water.
