Guide Hut

Guide Hut on Molesworth Station is a private, working-facility backcountry hut used for farm management and staff. It sits on Molesworth Recreation Reserve in the remote country around the Guide River, and it’s not set up for public tramping or tourist stays.

To visit, you need permission in advance. On the spot, treat it as a use-at-your-own-risk shelter: plan to arrive self-sufficient (water, food, and sleeping gear), and be prepared for remote conditions and stock activity typical of Molesworth.
