Lake Man Bivouac

Lake Man Bivvy is a Department of Conservation two-bunk backcountry hut in Lake Sumner Forest Park (Canterbury region). It has canvas bunks and use is free with no bookings required—first come, first served.

Plan for pit latrine toilets and no drinking water. The hut is set up for basic bivvy-style stays; nights are easiest when you arrive prepared with your own water and supplies.
