Lost Stream Bivouac

Lost Stream Bivouac is a Department of Conservation backcountry hut in the Leatham Conservation Area (Marlborough). The hut is a basic 2-bunk shelter with use on a first-come, first-served basis—no bookings are required—and it’s free to use.

Facilities include mattresses, a fireplace, and toilets with pit latrine disposal. Drinking water is available but is untreated, so treat it before use. You can access the hut by walking from Greigs Hut; the route is about 14 km one way and takes roughly 7 hours one way.
