Penk Hut

Penk Hut is a standard 6-bunk backcountry hut run by the Department of Conservation in the Ferny Gair Conservation Area (Marlborough). It’s first come, first served, with standard hut ticketing required—buy a Standard Hut Ticket for each night and place it in the honesty box at the hut. The hut has fire capability and mattresses, and there are toilets with pit-latrine disposal; drinking water is not provided.
