Refugio Archipiélago
Refugio Archipiélago is a backcountry hut managed by Dirección de Parques Nacionales in Parque Nacional Perito Moreno. It has capacity for 6 people plus 3 attached camping plots for 1–4 people each, making it a small option inside the Peninsula Belgrano trekking system.
The hut sits in front of a rocky archipelago south of the Península Belgrano and serves the Península Belgrano access approach; it is considered part of the Circuito Chico, with its access branch meeting the main trail shared by both circuits. Reservations for use of the refuge and/or attached camping plots are made by email to peritomoreno@apn.gob.ar, and after reserving you must complete the required mountain activity registration. Use is free of charge (reservas “sin cargo”).
