Refugio Kris y Doug Tompkins

Refugio Kris y Doug Tompkins is a backcountry wilderness hut in Parque Nacional Perito Moreno, set at the end of the Río Lácteo Valley Trail. It’s a small base for trekking in the area and is set up with a main hut space plus annex domes.

Use is limited: it accommodates 3 people with 3 annex domes. Reservations for using shelters and/or camping plots are made by email, and the park also requires completion of a mandatory mountain activities registration after booking. Reservations are processed without charge.
