Refugio dos Bahias

Refugio dos Bahías is a backcountry hut in Parque Nacional Perito Moreno, run by the park authority. It has capacity for 6 people plus 3 attached camp plots for 1–4 people each, and it sits on a tiny forested peninsula between two bays, a short walk from a nearby viewpoint.

Getting there is via the Península Belgrano trail: the hut is 6.3 km from the start of the Península Belgrano route, with about 800 m of that distance on the access path branching off from the main Circuito Grande trail.

Use requires booking by email to peritomoreno@apn.gob.ar, and after reserving you must complete the mandatory mountain-activities registration.
