Refugio Caleta Huala

Refugio Caleta Huala is a backcountry hut operated by Direccion de Parques Nacionales in Parque Nacional Perito Moreno. It’s the closest hut to the start of the Península Belgrano trails, about 900 m from the parking area. The hut has capacity for 4–6 people, and reservations are required for using the refuge.

To reserve, make a booking by email to peritomoreno@apn.gob.ar, then complete the mandatory mountain-activity registration after reserving. Plan on arriving prepared for overnight use; the hut is a simple backcountry shelter sized for small groups.
