Rokeby Hut

Rokeby Hut is a basic three-bunk hut in the St James Conservation Area (Canterbury), run by the Department of Conservation. Use is free and no bookings are required—use is first come, first served.

Sleeping is on canvas bunks, and the hut has pit latrines; drinking water is not provided, so bring your own. For Te Araroa Trail walkers, registering and purchasing the Te Araroa Trail Pass is required. The official hut page is available via the Department of Conservation.]
