Top Crooked Hut
Top Crooked Hut is a four-bunk backcountry hut run by the Department of Conservation in the West Coast’s Ahaura River and Lake Brunner catchments area. Use is free and stays are first come, first served (no bookings required).
Inside, it has mattresses, a fireplace, and toilet facilities (pit latrine/outhouse style). The hut has no drinking water, so you’ll need to carry and manage your own water.
